Pressure Vessel Design

FDB&A proudly offer, as part of our range of services, design of pressure vessels to adhere to the following codes and standards:

–PD5500
–PED
–EN13445
–SANS347
 

Pressure vessels include tanks, heat exchangers (thermal and mechanical design according to TEMA or ASME standard) and other vessels that operate under pressure.
 

Our design includes the following:
–Heat transfer study: if applicable to determine the influence of heat treatment on the pressure vessel.
–Code calculations: all relevant calculations as listed above.
–Finite element analysis: performed on all components not covered by code calculations.
–Fabrication drawings: clients are supplied with full fabrication drawings.
–Rigging and transportation study: performed to imitate forces upon the vessel during transportation and rigging of the vessel.
–Drawings signed off by our Registered Professional Engineer.
